Friday Club in Cloughleigh
We had only a few helpers tonight, so it was tough going. It took us about 5 Minutes to get the crowd quite for Margaret’s story. And then she prayed for that mother who had died and there were even some requests for more prayers for people in the area.
Otherwise, it was a continuous struggle again, but at least we didn’t had to send anybody home, although it was close…. One boy kept pleading with me and said he would never be allowed to come back if we would call his parents and send him home…. He was fine then.
Afterwards I could play soccer with some of the kids on the green and they really enjoyed it. Me too.
We still need to pray hard for this area, it’s still a dark and tense place and we need the light of the gospel shine into it to bring the Good News of God’s love to them.

Here’s a great opportunity to be part of what God is doing in Ennis. Its true, the fields are ripe unto harvest! Can you dare to imagine what God can do if we, His people could get down on our knees and earnestly seek His face for Cloughleigh, and the families represented at Friday Club? It is no coincidence that God has always had His witnesses living in this part of town. Lets pray and see if God wants you to be part of this work by offering a helping hand for an hour on Friday Evening. If that’s not possible then dont forget the prayers of a righteous man are powerful and effective, we want to see our God change lives dont we, so lets get to work! Each child in this club is a soul that Jesus loves, for whom He died. Lets lift them up to Our Beautiful Saviour and lets believe in His Power to work wonders.
